Zen yoga focuses on alignment, energy flow, and the Buddhist practice of mindfulness. Routines flow from one pose to the next, and shapes are practiced while standing, sitting, or lying down. Students are encouraged to go at their own pace, making Zen yoga suitable for a wide range of students (if you’re brand new to yoga, a Gentle Flow or Restorative class is probably best).
